Double Exposure Double Exposed Styles

Double exposure, a unique artistic style, combines pictures to create a single, mesmerizing piece. This artistic technique is kind of run-of-the-mill for a blend between the digital and analog worlds. In these two pictures I see an African American boy, probably around 6 years old, playing dress-up. He’s wearing a medical mask, glasses, a white uniform, and is carrying a stethoscope. In the background, these aren’t ordinary steam emissions, but something woefully reminiscent of a smoker’s lungs believe it or not. But don’t be alarmed, this is art here, and creating images like these. All of these visual elements create a visually stunning and innovative piece of art. For some reason, while elements of reality are brought forth through the artwork, the unrealistic and ethereal elements are beautifully represented.

The team of director Andreas Lie, Bojan Jevtic and Ashley Wood masterfully play on the idea of the unknown and the ephemeral though every aspect of the visual serves a purpose. The Swiss watch metaphor, for instance, demonstrates that not only can business processes be efficient and streamlined, but also demonstrates just how well these art pieces are put together.
